The 1st option is something a little different and very exciting.

This program is called Guitar Superstars.

Now, when i was learning the guitar this product wasn't around, I've checked it out and well, all i can say is "If you're gonna learn, you might as well have some fun with it."

It's cost around the same as Jamorama and you know straight away where you have spent it. These guys have spent thousands of dollars in perfecting this site.

From the moment you join you get sucked in. You choose the style you want to play, rock, acoustic, heavy metal etc and then you can even choose your own tutor, loads to choose from.

The videos are fun, entertaining and very easy to follow. Over 200 hours of footage. Lets think about this for a moment. I know from experience that when you learn online you will watch the same video over and over.

Lets face it, you want to be the best you can so you should master as much as you can. So in a nutshell 200 hours of footage will last you a long time.

My advice is to visit the website as it's packed with info on what they offer. I really could go on all day about this product. Two thumbs up!!

The 2nd option is an online course called Jamorama.

In my opinion Jamorama is great! This is the program i used myself from being a complete newbie to the guitar playing world, I've got a soft spot for these guys.

The thing about Jamorama that sets it apart from all other courses is that it is an integrated learning kit with lessons, games and practice “jam tracks” put together in a way that gets tangible results fast. Every aspect of the course from the way it is downloaded, to the way lessons are laid out, to the Jam Tracks that come with the course for a learner to practice what’s being taught in context makes Jamorama easy and fun to use

Jamorama is a practical course. This is not loaded down with a lot of unnecessary theory.

 While you will come away from the course with skills like being able to ready guitar TAB, you won’t spend time learning theory that has little or no application.

I give Jamorama a score of 10 out of 10! If you want to learn guitar and are looking at an online course, I wholeheartedly recommend Jamorama Guitar. You will not find more information packaged in a user-friendly course for so little money anywhere.

With the Jamorama course you can enter your details for a FREE 1st lesson. The whole package cost $39.95 ( £24.96) Think about it this way. A real life tutor will charge you at least $25 (£15) for an hour if you're lucky. The Cost of Jamorama cost less than 2 lessons. One payment and all you're lessons are covered.

A friend of mine recently joined Jamorama as he was getting nowhere fast with his tutor, he has since told me that Jamorama has taught him more in a week than 3 months with a real life tutor. Think of what he spent in 3 months.

I looked at this site and quite frankly it in no way competes with the above 2 sites i've reviewed. Dont get me wrong it's a good course and you can learn from it.

To be honest after the experience of the other sites this does not compete. It's a little bit boring in look and feel. The site claims that you can unlock the guitar within one weekend. I dont care who you are, i know that you cannot do this in a weekend. Again don't get me wrong, you can learn some new stuff over the course of a weekend but you can't unlock it, otherwise everyone in the world would be a guitar playing stud.

The other thing that turned me off with this site is the cost. This site cost you back $50 (£31)

If i was you i'd spend less on the Jamorama course or pay slightly more the fantastic "guitar Superstar" program.

This site will teach you how to play but i'd be weary of a purchase especially when there are better cheaper alternatives.

This is just my thought on the site. Take a visit yourself and see what you think.
